mediathekview software package provides view streams from German public television stations, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mediathekview
mediathekview is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mediathekview package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mediathekview *
You will get with mediathekview package name, version, architecture and description in a table
